Rachel Pacheco, 86, of Bowling Green, and formerly of Hoytville, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2018. Rachel was born on February 17, 1932 to the late José and Maria (Munoz) Torres in San Antonio, Texas. She married the late Edward Pacheco on August 10, 1953. They were married for 31 years and he proceeded her in death in 1984. Along with her parents and husband, Rachel was preceded in death by one sister, Margarita, three brothers; Jose, Ernesto, and Richard Torres; and three grandchildren.
Rachel enjoyed cooking and feeding her large family. She worked at Consolidated Biscuit in McComb for many years.
She is survived by her daughters: Rose Castillo of Van Buren; Sylvia (Kevin) Beebe of Illinois; Linda Brown of Panama City, Florida; and sons: Andrew DeLaCerda of Leipsic; and Robert DeLaCerda of Bowling Green; one sister: Mary (Bob) Thompson of Las Vegas, Nevada, and a special granddaughter, Tina Smith; 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Rachel’s honor may be made to the Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
Visitation will be held at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio on December 6, 2018 from 3-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10 am. Interment will immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green.
