A COLLECTively Stop the Bans Day of Action rally hosted by Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio will be held Wednesday, May 22 at 5 p.m. in front of 1 Government Center in Toledo to protest recent anti-abortion legislation.
According to organizers: “We are here to declare that abortion is moral, abortion is pro-life, abortion is healthcare, and safe and legal abortion is mandatory. “
Community members that will be speaking include Kristin Hady, volunteer coordinator of the volunteer clinic escorts; Sheena Barnes, community advocate;Schuyler Beckwith, Practice Manager of Capital Care Network of Toledo; Anita Rios, the Agnes Reynolds Jackson Fund; and Kristen Robideaux, of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Ohio.
