Raymond Karr, beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017. He was in the presence of his children Frank Karr, Diane (Roger) Stokowski, Robert (Jodi) Karr and Lenora (Mike) Wells. He was born August 30, 1948 in Cleveland, Ohio to Frank and Mary Karr. He lived in Bowling Green for the past 14 years.
Ray was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green, Ohio. He loved to fish and spend time at the lake with his children and grandchildren. One of his favorite memories of his childhood was fishing with his brother and father. Ray will always be remembered for his love of God and family. He always ended every conversation and note with the words “Pray” and “May Jesus be with you and Bless you”.
Ray adored his grandchildren Lauren, Abbigail, Colton, Rebecka, Gabie, Dillon, Stephen, Hunter, Sullivan, Jackson, Kayla and Joshua. A favorite memory of grandpa was his Goofy impersonation. Ray is survived by his children, grandchildren and his sister, Marilyn (Ben) Bogucki and brother, Daniel (Theresa) Karr who will miss him dearly.
Ray is now at peace alongside his mother, father, and sister, Joanne.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass Christian Burial on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Father Mark Davis will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a spiritual prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A viewing will also be held on Thursday morning at St. Aloysius Catholic Church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. before Mass.
