Richard ‘Dick’ Leroy Dieter, 82, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away January 7, 2025. He was born March 2, 1942 in Wayne, Ohio to the late Fred and Lenora (Benscoter) Dieter. He married Mary Lou Heinze in 1965 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Dick was a 1960 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School, He was a former member of Rotary international. Dick and his father founded International Services of Hope- providing medical services and supplies to the people of Haiti. He and his wife owned and operated Dieter Material Handling in Bowling Green.
Along with his wife of 60 years, Mary, Dick is survived by his sons Mark (Sara) of Waterville, Ohio and Bradley (Laura) of Mitchell, Indiana, granddaughter Chloe and brother Ron (Lee) of Manchester, New Hampshire.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Gary and Robert.
Dick’s funeral service will be held Monday January 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Interment will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
