Rick Howard Miller, 74, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away at 2:08pm on December 22 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident the previous Monday.
Rick was married to his wife, Peggy (Chambers) on February 11, 1972, and they shared 53 years together. They had two children, Amanda (Fred) Jones and Joshua (Tiffany Sharp) who survive. Rick was also survived by 6 grandchildren, that he adored more than life itself: Hanna, 30, Ethan, 27, Sasha, 25, Naima, 16, Jaida, 14 and Amara, 8.
He was a proud Navy veteran and served for 8 years. Rick was a UPS driver for more than 30 years, serving the city of Bowling Green and was known for talking more on his route than actually delivering packages. He was a flag football and softball coach for many years in Pemberville and loved every one of his players like they were his own. The most important thing in Rick’s life was his wife and his family. He would do anything for them and showed them love everyday by going to every sports game, mowing their yards and always helping his family in any way. He will be missed, not only by his family, but also by the hundreds of others that he in some way made feel like he was their dad, too.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
