Rose Mary Tyrrell Wilcox, 93, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died January 15, 2017 at the Woodhaven Health Care in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was born October 3, 1923 to Martin and Rosa (Durliat) Wilhelm in Custar, Ohio. On August 21, 1943 Rose Mary married Joseph L. Tyrrell at St. Louis Catholic Church in Custar. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1985. She married Dale Wilcox on September 9, 1994 at Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, Ohio and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Rose Mary was a lifelong member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Custar. She loved her children and family most in the world. Rose Mary was delighted in all of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great grandchildren. Her last words were “I just want the best for my family”.
Survivors include children, Joseph (Margit) Tyrrell, Jacqueline R. Parks, and Patricia (James) Feltman, 16 grandchildren, 32 great grand children, and 4 great great grand children. She is proceeded in death by her sons Anthony Tyrrell, Michael Tyrrell, 2 grand daughters, and 1 great grandson her brothers Edward, Gilbert, Carl, Howard, Charles, Aurthur, James and Martin Wilhelm, her sisters Helen Laytart, Bernice Wilhelm, Gertrude Bechstein, Catherine Milligan and Florence Krebs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday January 18th begining at 11am at St. Louis Catholic Church, 22792 Defiance Pike, Custar, OH 43511. The family will receive friends from 10 am until services. Internment will follow at St. Louis Catholic Cemetery.
