Sally A. Chambers, age 83, of Rudolph, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 28, 1942, in Bowling Green, Ohio, Sally lived a life centered on faith, family, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
On August 28, 1971, she married the love of her life, Melvin Chambers. Their 50 years together were filled with devotion, hard work, and the love they poured into their family and farm. Melvin preceded her in death on July 7, 2021.
Sally dedicated her life to caring for her home and her family. She was the heart of the Chambers family, supporting her husband and raising their children with warmth, guidance, and unwavering love. She found great joy in gardening, reading, and tending to her daily crossword puzzles. More than anything, Sally cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and amazing dog Digger, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She was a member of South Liberty United Methodist Church.
Sally is survived by her children Erika Chambers of Bowling Green, Ohio, Jamie Chambers of Bowling Green, Ohio, Karl (Kim) Chambers of Rudolph, Ohio, grandchildren C.J. Barnes, Cameron Barnes, Breanna Chambers, Konner Chambers, Karter Chambers, Kaleb Chambers and numerous cousins. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service for Sally will be held on Friday December 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St. Her visitation will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Weston Cemetery.
