Sandra R. Moore, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday April 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 26, 1939, to the late Ray and Edna (Mayers) Doll in Sandusky, Ohio. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and the love of her life Melvin Moore of Bowling Green.
Sandra graduated from Gibsonburg High School where she met her husband of 67 years, Melvin. Throughout her life, Sandra wore many hats. She worked part-time as a florist at Nuhfer’s Florist in Gibsonburg, generously gave her time as a school lunch volunteer, and a kindergarten and 1st grade Sunday school teacher at First English Lutheran Church in Gibsonburg. She was a member of Zoar Lutheran Church Perrysburg, Ohio. An avid lover of flowers, she found joy tending her yard and cherished playing in her card club with her friends for many years. Above all else, Sandra treasured the time spent with her family.
Along with her loving husband, Melvin, she is survived by her daughter Karen (James) Micenec of Grand Rapids, Ohio, son Thomas Moore of Carroll, Ohio, 7 beautiful grandchildren and 11 precious great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sandra will be held privately with the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home located at 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Ohio 43566.
