The Wood County Auditor’s Office completed six annexations comprising 15 parcels during the year 2017. These annexations included existing homes on 1.25 acres in Plain Township annexed by the City of Bowling Green; Center Township parcels comprising 103.05 acres were annexed by the City of Bowling Green for the construction of a warehouse facility in the city and other potential industrial development; Washington Township acreage comprising 5.72 acres was annexed by the Village of Tontogany for a housing development; and six Perrysburg Heights lots were annexed by the City of Perrysburg for the construction of a AAA building.
“These annexations indicate the strength of our expanding local economy,” Wood County Auditor Matthew Oestreich said.
