Surasak “Ron” Sritongkul, 60, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Monday April 25, 2022. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand on October 9, 1961.
Ron worked as a Meat Cutter at Giant Eagle for many years. He attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day- Saints in Bowling Green. He was an excellent chef and loved cooking for his family and friends. He enjoyed painting and loved his cats. His greatest joy was his family and he especially loved being an uncle and grandfather.
He is survived by his son Trent Sritongkul of Bowling Green, daughter Nuttida Wongsa of Perrysburg, Ohio, his mother Duangporn and step-father Richard Pollex of Toledo, Ohio and granddaughter Ellie Wongsa. He is also survived by his siblings James Pollex of Waterville, Ohio, John Pollex of Millbury, Ohio, Joe Sritongkul of Toledo, Ohio, Tom Sritongkul of Bangkok, Thailand, Tina Sritongkul of Bangkok, Thailand and Kathleen Pollex (Abdulmonem Alfadhel) of Toledo, Ohio, ex-wife Rujira Pantoomano and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Bonsong.
A Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
