Susan Miller of Port St Lucie, Florida left this Earth on September 6, 2024 and is now with her Lord and Savior in Heaven.
Susan was born on July 12, 1939 to Chester and Ruth (Evers) Bucklin in Toledo, Ohio.
She was a graduate of Waite High School in 1957.
She married the love of her life, Jack Eugene Miller, on July 31, 1960.
Susan worked as a proofreader at the Bowling Green Sentinel-Tribune and in the Popular Culture Department at BGSU while raising her family.
Once her cherished children left the nest, Sue and Jack embarked on a journey exploring the United States for several years in their fifth-wheel motor home.
In 2002, they moved to Port Saint Lucie, Florida to live out their Golden Years.
Susan loved square dancing, playing pinochle, sewing, painting, cooking, reading her bible, going to the beach and doting over her great/grand children. Her love of family and Jesus Christ were most important in her remarkable life.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jimmy and cherished Grandchild, Rod Meyers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jack. They were totally in love with one another and inseparable their entire lives. Her children, Tim of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jackie of Bowling Green, Ohio and Ken (Anne Vollmar) of Port Charlotte, Florida. Three Grandchildren: Sarah, Jaime & Jason and Six Great-grandchildren: Natalie, Nathan, Jeremiah, Brooklyn, Gracelyn & Axel.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 4 pm (visitation/viewing) and 5:30 pm Celebration of Life Ceremony at Yates Funeral Home, 7951 S. Federal Hwy, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34952.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Annmarie Cleman and her staff at Loving Care of the Treasure Coast and Treasure Coast Hospice for their extraordinary care of Susan in her final months.
