As we know from the history of the founding of our great nation, eventually the American Colonists became fed up with their British Rulers attempts to govern them unjustly, and they decided to declare Independence from them.
his came into being after Parliament Passed what became known as “The Intolerable Acts” and the rest we say is history. Well, I keep wondering when are the majority of Americans, who oppose this want to be King in the White House, going to rise up in overwhelming numbers and put an end to Trump and his enablers. How much longer are we going to sit on our butts, while these people continually pass or attempt to pass laws specifically designed to hurt anyone in this country who disagrees with or stands in the way of their attempts to destroy our democracy.
It appears to me that The Republican Party is hell bent on destroying women’s rights over their own bodies, and are looking to humiliate and subjugate them in any way possible.
Their recent letter to the Supreme Court, pressing them to overturn Roe V Wade is a prime example of this, as well as the cruel, impossible, and flat out insane legislation passed in the Ohio House demanding women who get abortions to be tied up, and have an embryo re implanted into their uterus. A procedure already deemed medically impossible. What’s next, are we going to line women up in front of firing squads if the use the morning after pill?
Last Thursday the President Of The United States came to Toledo, with his entourage, for the specific purpose of turning our neighbors, our co-workers, and our family’s against one another in a desperate attempt to get re-elected in November, through the means of hate, of incitement to violence, through lies and deceit. He proceeded to call Democrats “vicious people”, and whip his supporters into a frenzy of an us against them philosophy. This kind of rhetoric is getting people killed, injured, or worse and its going on in our own back yard!
This is the Fascist Playbook in its simplest form. Find a particular group of people to scape goat, vilify those people over and over again, pass legislation to target those groups of people, then send thugs into the street to beat them up!!
For the first time in my life I have to say to myself, “Am I going to have to use my fists, file complaints through human resources, or worse to defend myself against attack at my place of employment, because of the party I chose to vote for. In my entire life, I have never had to do this, yet this is where we are thanks to Donald J Trump! I will not stand for it anymore. Ladies and Gentleman, My Country Men, My Brothers and Sisters, My Friends. In the name of Humanity, in the name of our Great Nation, In the name God. Stop this insanity, and take a stand for what we all know is right!
