Thayer Ford invites the community to celebrate automotive history and hometown tradition at its 21st annual classic car and truck show on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will be held at Thayer Ford, 18039 N. Dixie Highway.
The classic car and truck show has become popular as part of the region’s car show circuit, drawing enthusiasts from across Northwest Ohio and beyond. More than 100 vehicles are expected to compete for “Best in Show” and a variety of specialty awards.
Registration is $5 in advance and $10 on the day of the show, with all proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio. Participants can register on the day of the event, by mailing in a completed invitation form, or by stopping at Thayer Ford in-person for a registration form.
In addition to the lineup of classic cars and trucks, there will be:
- Food trucks
- Live DJ entertainment
- Raffles and giveaways
- Kids’ activities for family fun
“Each year, this event brings people together who share a love for cars, trucks, and community,” said Rachael Thayer-London, third-generation leader of Thayer Family Dealerships. “It’s a tradition we look forward to every summer, and we’re proud to see it grow while continuing to support an important cause in our region.”
