The BG Santa Pub Crawl Committee members would like to extend a huge thank you to community members who supported this year’s event and give a recap of how the event supported the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots.
First and foremost, thank you to the folks that came out and donated. We had almost twice as many people this year than we had last year in the inaugural event. The committee was thrilled with the very strong showing (~80 people) at our first stop, Doc’s Big City Saloon

Big thanks to U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for collecting and distributing the gifts throughout Wood County and contributing to the costume contest prizing. We couldn’t do this without them!
We would also like to thank those that could not make the crawl, but donated by using the boxes around town or leaving gifts for children on the committee members’ porches. Y’all are just the best!
We collected a total of 230 gifts and $500 from pub crawl attendees! In addition to that, the community also donated another 250 gifts to the donation boxes we placed at 4 local businesses. All in all, we contributed nearly 500 gifts and a total of $500 to add to the joy of Christmas Morning this year.
You are a wonderful community, Bowling Green… Thank you for your support. See you at the pub crawl next December!
