Theodore “Ted” Witham, 73, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away November 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Ted was born on December 23, 1943 in Hannibal, Missouri. His parents were the late William and Laura (Otto) Witham He married Gillian Wentz on August 21, 1965 in Prout Chapel on the campus of Bowling Green State University and she survives.
Ted is survived by his daughter: Pam Hubbell of Bowling Green, Ohio; son: Christopher (Autumn) Witham of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sister: Rebecca (Marvin) Blair of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren: Landon, Cyprian, Felicity, Blaise, Madelyn, and Nathaniel.
Ted retired from the GTE phone company in 1991. After his retirement, he started Witham Service, where he was a certified contractor and remodeler. Ted was a member of the First Christian Church in Bowling Green, Ohio. He loved to garden, travel, and the most of all, he loved life, God and his family.
Visitation for Ted will be held of Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Interment with full military honors will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
