Theresa Brown, 97, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away April 23, 2025. She was born June 22, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Francis and Gizella (Marko) Karafa. She married Jack Brown and he preceded her in death.
Theresa was a graduate of Waite High School. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. Theresa enjoyed spending her time traveling, walking, reading and doing puzzles. She was a talented knitter and gardener.
She is survived by her children William Brown of Bowling Green, Ohio, James (Sue) Brown of Seattle, Washington, Marjorie (John) Swiger of Mansfield, Ohio and Susan (Paul) Barrow of Ann Arbor, Michigan, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack and brothers Frank Karafa, Nandor Karafa and Joe Marko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 S. Enterprise St. Bowling Green. Father Tom McQuillen will officiate. Interment will follow at Plain Township Cemetery in Bowling Green. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
