Set in 1942, the play explores family, survival, and resilience through Simon’s signature blend of sharp wit and deeply felt emotion.

“Lost in Yonkers”  follows two young brothers sent to live with their formidable grandmother while their father works to pay off a debt. In her strict household, they encounter a collection of unforgettable relatives whose humor, pain, and humanity reveal the complicated bonds of family.

By turns hilarious and heartbreaking, the play captures the cost of growing up too fast—and the surprising ways love and compassion break through even the toughest exteriors.
