From UNIVERSITY WOMEN OF BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY
University Women of BGSU is kicking off another year of friendship and fellowship and welcomes anyone who is interested to join. Members are not required to have an affiliation with BGSU to join.
University Women of BGSU hosts a variety of special interest groups, such as the Morning Blooms gardening group, who go on tours of backyard gardens every other week throughout the summer. Members can also enjoy guided tours of the Toledo Museum of Art multiple times throughout the month.
There are groups for specific hobbies, such as the singing group, TOOTs Singers, the knitting and crocheting group, KnitWits, the community service group, and an “Antiques and Collectibles” group. Discussion groups include Expresso Yourself, which meets at Grounds for Thought, the “Lunch Bunch,” and the “Travelers.” University Women of BGSU has three book groups: “Banned” book group, Novel Women, and Book Divas.
Connie Kern leads the organization for the 2025-2026 term.
