From UNIVERSITY WOMEN OF BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY
University Women of BGSU will hold its annual holiday party at the home of Dr. Roger and Mrs. Barbara Sanchez, 720 Brittany Ave., on Friday, Dec. 12, at 6:30 p.m. The evening of food, entertainment, and fellowship is one of the main events of University Women’s annual calendar.
Pianist Michael Peslikis will provide live holiday music. University Women’s group “TOOTs,” or “The Out Of Tuners,” led by Jo Ascunce will also perform.
The holiday party is also a way to raise money to help families in need. This year University Women members will be collaborating with Salvation Army and the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities for their community service project. Anne Bullerjahn, University Women’s community service chair, and her committee will deliver the food, presents, and books to the families and their children before Christmas.
Monetary gifts can be brought to the Sanchez home on the night of the party or can be mailed directly to Anne Bullerjahn. Checks should be made out to Anne Bullerjahn.
University Women of BGSU is open to all women and new members are welcome. If someone has an interest in joining or would like to learn more about this organization, they are invited to attend the Christmas party.
