Vincent “Paul” Cooper Jr., 83 of Luckey, OH passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Bowling Green Manor in Bowling Green. He was born on December 18, 1941 to Vincent Paul and Mary (Hedrick) Cooper Sr., in Cumberland, MD. He went on to serve his nation in the United States Marine Corps. Paul married Arlene Francis on October 22, 1960 at St. Paul Methodist Church in Tiffin, OH. Paul and Arlene raised 2 children and celebrated over 59 years of marriage together.
Paul retired from Chrysler Corp., as an Engineering Supervisor following 20 plus years of service. While always remaining a proud Veteran he was a member of the Troy-Webster American Legion. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, enjoyed playing pool, spending time with his mini-schnauzer Tinker. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Arlene, Paul is survived by his children: Richelle McLaughlin of Perrysburg, and Kenneth P. (Laurie) Cooper of Findlay. Grandchildren: Melanie (Dustin) Marshall, Emily (Isaac) Bailey, Jessica (Tyler) Firsdon, Matthew (Essma Kheiry) Cooper, 1 great-granddaughter, and 4 great-grandsons. 1 sister, 2 brothers and k-9 pal; Tinker. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 sister.
Paul will be laid to rest at a family committal service in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH. Officiating will be Pr. Leroy Sholey.
