Bowling Green Police Station

Bowling Green Police charged a Weston woman with allegedly using counterfeit money at two pizza shops in Bowling Green last week.

On Wednesday (Jan. 14), Erica Rosas, 33, reportedly tried to use a fake $100 bill to pay for pizza at a restaurant in the 1000 block of South Main. In that incident, the manager noticed that the counterfeit bill had no security features, and stated “copy” on the bill.

The next day (Jan. 15), Rosas reportedly used a fake $100 bill to buy pizza at a shop in the 1000 block of North Main Street. The bill was accepted for payment, despite stating “this is not legal tender” on the bill.
