The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce is honored to announce the winners of the 2018 Annual Holiday Parade, “Our Best Home Town Parade.” The parade marched down Main Street through the historic downtown on Saturday, Nov. 17, with a live WTOL Broadcast.
The winners were:
– Most Unique: Wood County District Public Library. With a brigade of T-Rex Dinosaurs, we saw a fun take on the Great Black Swamp Jurassic Age encouraging reading at your local library. They will be awarded with a certificate of recognition.
– Best Live Performance: The Beat Dance Company. The Beat Dance team engaged everyone with an amazing BG Bobcats routine inspired by “High School Musical.” They will be awarded with a certificate of recognition.
– Best Float: Rosenboom Custom Crafted Cylinders. This float was a wonderful winter scene complete with Mrs. Claus. They will be awarded with a certificate of recognition.
– Best Youth: Julie’s Dance Studio – The Nutcracker Ballet. . . All Jazzed Up. These dance students, dressed in beautiful costumes, gave a live performance taken from their upcoming performance of The Nutcracker Ballet . . . All Jazzed Up. They will be awarded with a certificate of recognition.
– Best of Show: National Tractor Pullers Association. The NTPA went all out with a full size pulling tractor that demonstrated “power” to the crowds! Their Hometown Holiday décor was executed beautifully. They will proudly display the Best of Show trophy for 2019.
