From WOOD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY
The Wood County Emergency Management Agency invites the community to participate in SKYWARN spotter training. The training will take place on Tuesday, March 10, from 6 – 8 p.m., at the Veterans’ Memorial Building in City Park, 520 Conneaut Ave., Bowling Green.
In this training, participants will learn:
- Basics of thunderstorm development
- Fundamentals of storm structure
- How to identify potential severe weather features
- Information to report
- Basic severe weather safety
