The Wood County Agricultural Society announced the results from Sunday’s election of directors to the fair board.
Incumbents Donald Bechstein and Jonathon Shinew were elected to District 1. With four seats available in the district, there are still two open seats available.
Four seats were open in District 2 voting. Three current board members were returned to their seats: Deanne Corken, Brock Abke and Paul Perry. Tony Violi was elected to the seat currently held by director and current president Kyle Culp, who chose not to run again in order to devote more time to his family as his children become eligible to compete in the junior fair.
Incumbent Jessica Nagel kept her director’s seat in District 3. She defeated Jim Blackford, who heads the fairgrounds’ building and grounds, and Mike Trout, a former fair board director and president.
