According to the Wood County Emergency Management Agency, there is a risk of thunderstorms for both Saturday and Sunday/Sunday night, with the primary threats being strong winds and large hail.
There is also a slight risk to the west for excessive rainfall on Sunday. Wood County falls into the lowest thunderstorm category on Saturday but is listed in the marginal category for the forecasted Sunday storms.
Timing of storms on Saturday is estimated between 12 to 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 6 p.m. through the evening hours.
