Wood County records 6 new COVID cases since Monday

Wood County has reported six new cases of COVID-19 since Monday, putting the county at 1.5 new cases per day.  The Perrysburg ZIP Code area recorded most of the new cases in the past two weeks.

The county is now up to 13,325 confirmed and probable cases from COVID, 228 deaths and 658 hospitalizations since last March, according to the Thursday, July 22, update from the Wood County Health Department. 

As of today, 52.8% of the county population has been vaccinated. That’s 69,067 people who have gotten at least their first vaccine dose.
