Wood County has reported 248 new COVID cases and two more hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 21,349 cases, 290 deaths, and 956 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 50 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 369 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 759 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 236; Bowling Green, 143; Northwood, 68; Walbridge, 50; North Baltimore, 47; Rossford, 40; Pemberville, 30; Weston, 28; Millbury, 16; Bradner, 16; Grand Rapids, 15; and Fostoria, 11.
