Wood County has reported 119 new COVID cases, 6 deaths, and 5 new hospitalizations since Monday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 17,622 cases, 257 deaths, and 805 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 30 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 200 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 385 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 143; Bowling Green, 77; Walbridge, 23; North Baltimore, 19; Rossford, 19; Weston, 17; and Pemberville, 17.
Several schools in the county have reported recent cases of COVID. The report issued Oct. 28 gave an update of cases, including:

- Lake, 1 student, 0 staff.
- North Baltimore, 2 students, 1 staff.
- Northwood, 1 student, 0 staff.
- Otsego, 0 students, 0 staff.
- Penta, 14 students, 2 staff.
- Perrysburg, 14 students, 5 staff.
- Rossford, 5 students, 1 staff.
- St. Aloysius, 3 students, 0 staff.
