Jerry E. Stover , age73, of Maumee, Ohio died July 7, 2016 at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. He was born in Bowling Green on May 30, 1943 to Gorgon and Frances Stover.
He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1961 and after attending college he served in the United States Army.
Jerry chose banking as a career and served 35 years with Huntington National Bank and The Citizens National Bank of Norwalk retiring an Executive Vice President in 2002.
In his retirement years Jerry served terms on the Monclova Township Zoning Commission and the Monclova Township Fire Dependency Board.
He is survived by his bother Dale (Lois) and nieces Barbara (Bruce) Klein and Debora Hoskinson and nephew Douglas (Cindy) Hoskinson. Jerry was preceded in death by a sister Laurene Hoskinson and his parents.
Visitation will be held at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, Ohio on Saturday July 16 from 10 am to 12 noon at which time a memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests a contribution may be made to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of their choice.
