The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and Wood County commissioners Craig LaHote, Ted Bowlus, and Doris Herringshaw have announced the 2025 State of the County Address will be held on Tuesday, March 11, in the Alvin L. Perkins Atrium at the Wood County Courthouse.
Doors will open at 7:30 a.m., with the program beginning at 8 a.m. Speakers will be the three commissioners, plus Clerk of Courts Doug Cubberley and Common Pleas Court Judge Joel Kuhlman.
The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Project Team will host this event with the support of sponsors, the Northwestern Water & Sewer District and McDonald’s. WBGU 88.1 FM “The Morning Show with Clint Corpe” will provide live audio of the event, and the Chamber of Commerce will provide a video recording and publish the full address on the chamber legislative updates webpage after the event.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Attendees are asked to park in the lot east of the Courthouse off Summit Street. All spaces (except those with a meter) are free to people on county business.
