The Eastwood FFA hosted the Wood County Chapter Degree Ceremony in October, at Eastwood High School. Otsego, Bowling Green, and Elmwood FFA chapters attended the Chapter Degree Ceremony alongside Eastwood.

The Chapter Degree is the second degree earned by FFA members who are continuing their agricultural education and membership of the FFA for a second year.

In November, the Eastwood FFA hosted its annual Greenhand Ceremony. The ceremony took place at the Eastwood High School Auditorium.

The Greenhand Ceremony recognizes first-year FFA members who are starting their FFA career. This is one of many degrees FFA members may earn. Thirty-seven Eastwood FFA members received their Greenhand Degrees.

Ohio FFA State President, Carter Boyd, attended and spent the day with members before the ceremony, participating in collaborative activities during class. Boyd was the guest speaker at the ceremony.

To end the ceremony, FFA members participated in a Greenhand Trivia contest. Olivia Riter placed first, Carrie Brinker was second, and Emery Wensink placed third.
