From WOOD COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
The community is invited to join the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities for its celebrity basketball game on Thursday, March 5, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. To kick off Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month this March, the Wood County Special Olympics basketball team will challenge local celebrities in this friendly matchup at the Bowling Green Community Center, 1245 W. Newton Road.
This event is all about raising awareness, celebrating inclusion, and supporting the community – while having a great time doing it. The stats may not count, but fostering a community of inclusion will.
T-shirts will be available for sale at the event for $15.
