Today (Oct. 18) at 4:50 a.m., the Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash on Ohio 235 near Euler Road in Weston Township.
The crash involved a 2011 Honda Civic driven by Antonio Cuellar, 30, of Bowling Green, who was pronounced deceased upon arrival at Mercy St. Vincent’s hospital.
The investigation reportedly showed that the Honda was traveling northbound on Route 235 south of Euler Road when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a guard rail head on. The driver, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle.
Assisting the Wood County Sheriff’s Office on location was Weston Fire and EMS, Mercy Life-Flight Air Ambulance, Ohio Department of Transportation and Frank’s Towing.
The crash remains under investigation.
