The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced the following upcoming traffic impacts in Wood County.
Southbound Interstate 475, between Ohio 25 and Hull Prairie Road, will experience lane restrictions for embankment work on Sunday, Aug. 16, from 4 – 9 a.m.
Northbound I-475, between I-75 and U.S. 24, will be open this weekend with respect to a summer festival in Maumee. The following ramps will be closed:
- Northbound I-75 ramp to northbound I-475
- Southbound I-75 ramp to northbound I-475
- Route 25/Dixie Highway on-ramp to northbound I-475
Other projects affecting traffic in Wood County are:
- The I-75 south exit ramp to Route 25/Dixie Highway will be open this weekend, Aug. 14-17. Closures are expected for two additional weekends, including the proposed weekends of Aug. 21 and Aug. 28, weather permitting. Work will not occur this weekend, Aug. 14-16.
- U.S. 20, between Ohio 420 and Ohio 105, may experience lane restrictions for finish work through August.
- In Portage, Route 25 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for resurfacing through late fall.
- Beginning Monday, Aug. 17, Ohio 65, between East Boundary Street and Hickory Hills Drive in Perrysburg, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing. This will go through September.
- Route 65, between Eagle Point and Colony roads, is closed for a bridge replacement through mid-August. The detour is from Route 65 to I-75 to Route 25 to Route 65.
- Route 65, between Ohio 235 and Brillhart Road, is closed for culvert-to-bridge conversion through late September. The detour is from Route 65 to Ohio 235 to Kellogg Road to Ohio 64 to Ohio 582 and vice versa.
- Ohio 795, over I-75, is now open following a bridge resurfacing. Overnight lane restrictions on I-75 for falsework removal under the Route 795 structure may continue from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., daily.
- In Waterville, South River Road/ramp from eastbound Anthony Wayne Trail is currently closed from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily for mobilization of equipment at the Roche de Boeuf bridge structure.
