BG Police investigating vandalism in BGHS gym storage room, band and choir rooms, and hallways

Bowling Green Police responded to a report of vandalism at BG High School on Thursday (Aug. 20) which likely occurred that evening between 5:30 and 8.

Green paint had reportedly been thrown all over the auxiliary gym storage room, splattered on the wall, floor and trophies.

In the band and choir hallway, red paint marks including red handprints and footprints were found on the hallway walls, floors, in the doorway of the instrument storage room, the band room and a separate choir room.

A large amount of paint had been dumped onto a piano and bench valued at $1,195.

A message in red paint over the choir room door reportedly said “Death.”

The red paint continued on the walls to the double doors near the middle school wing.

Multiple cameras in that area of the school had been vandalized.

The investigation is ongoing.
