Joseph G. Costilla, 72, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Friday April 1, 2016. He was born March 31, 1944 in San Marcos, Texas to Ventura and Anita (Garza) Costilla. He married Norma Heminger-McIntyre on May 11, 2001 and she survives in Bowling Green. Joseph was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians fan. Along with his wife Norma, Joseph is survived by his daughter Jaime Wagner of Tiffin, Ohio, step-daughter Christine Dishop of Bowling Green, Ohio, step-son Gerald Heminger of Port Clinton, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, brothers Arturo Costilla of Fostoria, Ohio and Fernando Costilla of Fremont, Ohio, sisters Anita RegaLada of Adrian, Michigan, Elena Rodriguez of Loganville, Georgia and Guadalupe Rendon of Fountain, Colorado. He was preceded in death by brothers Luis Costilla and Emilio Costilla and sister Ofilia Gonzales. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at 11:00am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 150 South Enterprise Street in Bowling Green. Father Mark Davis will officiate.
