Janet Ludwig, 59, of Bowing Green passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. She was born on April 22, 1959 to John and Betty (Sams) Strickland in Ashland, Kentucky.
Janet is survived by her father: John Strickland of Tontogany; daughters: Angie (Ken) Shidler of McClure; Carla (Clayton) Chamberlain of Custar; sisters: Sharon (Scott) Benschoter of Bradner; Sandra (Ed) Metzger of Bowling Green; a brother: Steve Strickland of Weston; grandchildren: Wyatt Chamberlain, Wesley, Madilyn and Kinze Shidler. Janet was preceded in death by her mother: Betty Strickland; and a brother: Denis Strickland.
Janet attended Otsego High School and went on to work a number of jobs. She last worked the grounds for Highland Memorial Gardens. She enjoyed being outdoors and would often go camping and boating with her family. Janet especially loved swimming and spending time with her grandkids. She will be dearly missed.
Services for Janet will be private.
