The automatic recount of the Bowling Green income tax-property tax bond issue for a new elementary school has been completed – with the total being the same as the official count announced last week.
The levy failed by 32 votes, with 3,987 voting in favor and 4,019 voting against. An automatic recount was required because the split was so close.
According to the Wood County Board of Elections, 32 percent of the registered voters cast ballots in the Nov. 5 election.
