Wood County now has 14 residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to the daily update from the Wood County Health Department on Monday, March 30.
Of those 14, seven are hospitalized. None are in Wood County Hospital. The others are staying isolated in their homes.
They range in age from 20 to 71, with the median age of 57. Ten are female, four are male.
The tests are not readily available in Wood County, so local officials predict there are many more people here with the virus.
No additional information about the 14 Wood County residents will be provided by the health department in order to protect their privacy. A Rossford city official released information last week that the first two cases in the county involved residents of that community.
As of today, Ohio has 1,933 cases, with 475 hospitalizations and 39 deaths.
