Wood County now has 67 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, according to the daily update from the Wood County Health Department on Wednesday, April 15.
Five county residents with the virus have died.
As of Tuesday, 20 of those with the virus resided in long-term care facilities in the county.
A total of 27 are hospitalized. As of today, Wood County Hospital has two patients who tested positive for COVID-19.
Those with the virus range in age from 20 to 96, with the median age of 60. Of those, 40 are female, 27 are male.
No additional information about the 67 Wood County residents will be provided by the health department in order to protect their privacy.
