Wood County is now up to 13,087 confirmed and probable cases from COVID-19 since last March, according to the Monday, May 10, update from the Wood County Health Department.
That is 36 new cases since the last report on Thursday, May 6.
The county has recorded a total of 221 deaths from COVID, with no new deaths since Thursday.
A total of 648 local residents have been hospitalized for the coronavirus since last March, with one more being hospitalized since Thursday.
The county currently has 123 cases per 100,000 residents.
As of Monday, a total of 60,960 local residents have gotten at least their first dose of a COVID vaccine. That is 46.6% of the county population.
