Bowling Green Police Division has responded to reports of eight catalytic converters being stolen this week.
On Thursday, police received a report that the catalytic converters had been stolen off two vehicles at a business in the 700 block of West Newton Road. The surveillance video from the business is being reviewed to see if it shows someone coming onto the property.
Also this week, an auto repair business in the 17000 block of North Dixie Highway reported the converters being cut off six vehicles there.
Catalytic converters are often the target of thefts because of the metals in them that can be resold.
