The 42nd New Music Festival was presented Thursday through Saturday at the BGSU College of Musical Arts. The festival featured six concerts for ensembles large and small as well as a talk by guest composer Augusta Read Thomas. Kurt Doles, director of MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music, talks about the festival’s significance.
