Signups have opened for winter sports at the Bowling Green Community Center.
Winter Youth Basketball
Registration is open for the winter youth basketball leagues at the Bowling Green Community Center. This league is for children in grades K-6. The league is six weeks for the kindergarten age group and eight weeks for participants in grades 1-6. Each participant will receive a t-shirt in the K-2 divisions. Winter Youth Tennis Skills Clinic
Registration is open for a youth tennis skills clinic at the Bowling Green Community Center. Bowling Green Community Tennis will lead an introductory tennis skills clinic for children ages 4-9. This six-week clinic will cover the fundamentals of tennis as well as develop motor skills relating to the sport. Low compression tennis balls will be used and free loaner racquets are available. The tennis clinics take place on Fridays, beginning Jan. 14. Participants ages 4-6 will play from 5-5:50 p.m. and participants ages 7-9 will play from 6-6:50 p.m. Registration is limited and may fill up before the registration deadline. Women’s Adult Volleyball League
Registration is open for the Women’s Volleyball League at the Bowling Green Community Center. The Women’s Volleyball League (6 v 6) will consist of a round robin season and a season ending tournament. Costs are $150/team. Non-resident players pay $15 for the calendar year.
