Two missing children from Wood County have been located.
Wood County Job and Family Services reported Tuesday afternoon that the two children in their custody – Eduardo Olvera Jr. and Reyna Olvera – were found safe and unharmed.
No further information was available this afternoon.
The agency thanked the community and local law enforcement for their help finding the children.
Last week, the agency received emergency custody of Eduardo Olvera Jr., born Jan. 2, 2021. Then earlier this week, Eduardo’s sibling, Reyna Olvera, born Oct. 30, 2004, was placed in the agency’s custody as well. It was believed that Eduardo’s and Reyna’s mother, Claudia Olvera, may have fled with both children. There was concern for Eduardo’s safety due to a heart condition.
