Donald Snyder, age 87 of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on November 18, 2023. He was born on April 29, 1936, in Seneca County, Ohio to the late William and Irene (Feasel) Snyder. He married Gloria (Creeger) Snyder on July 29, 1956, and she survives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Donald served in the United States Navy Sea Bees from 1953-1957. He worked at Seaway Food Town, was the owner and operator of B&N Carryout in North Baltimore and retired from Pendelton & Sons as a laborer. Donald was a member of the North Baltimore American Legion and Trinity United Methodist church. He will be missed dearly by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Along with his loving wife, Donald is survived by his son Guy Snyder of Newark, Ohio, daughter, Lee Ann (Dale) Smith of Jerry City, sister Barbara Shafer of Colorado Springs, grandchildren Jamie Smith (Rick Fournier), Austin (Breeze) Snyder, Lauren (Drew) Harvey, Jake Smith and great-grandchild Oaklyn Fournier. And dear close friends Bruce and Martha Jewel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dorothy Hill, Pauline Dewald, Betty Kerr, Donna Saxion, brothers William Snyder, Willard Snyder, Percy Snyder, Arnold Snyder, and Chester Snyder.
A visitation will be held on Friday December 1, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, at 408 W. Wooster St. His funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Reverend Andrea Curry will officiate. Burial will be private with the Snyder family.
