The 3rd Annual Ryan Sanner Memorial Golf Tournament is planned for June 15 at the Bowling Green Country Club Golf Course, 923 Fairview Ave. Tee times for the nine-hole, four-person scramble start at 1 and 4 p.m.
This year, proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Wood Lane Residential Services.
Sponsorships are available for the golf tournament at $100 for a hole sponsor and $150 for a yard sponsor. Donations are also accepted.
Sanner, born in 1989 in Bowling Green, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at age four. The Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University graduate was a high Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steeler fan. Known for having a heart of gold, Sanner had an impact on everyone he met. After he died in 2021, the golf tournament was established to honor Sanner and his legacy.
