Meet Pudge, a 2-3-year-old mixed breed dog that came in as a stray to the Wood County Dog Shelter.
“He is a little bundle of energy that believes everyone is his best friend,” said Wood County Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding. “He loves to go for walks, but his favorite thing is to cuddle up next to his people.”
Pudge is medium sized and weighs 50 pounds. He does well with the other dogs at the shelter. He is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed.
The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays. The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
