Bowling Green Police arrested a man for using a weapon while intoxicated Sunday (1/12) at an apartment in the 100 block of Clay Street.
At 3:26 a.m., police were called about a dispute in progress with a handgun involved. When officers arrived, they found three males, with two having fresh blood on their faces. The men reportedly said they were wrestling and initially denied anyone had a gun.
The gun was found in a bedroom, where one of the women in the apartment had placed it after Casey Hamrick, 21, of Bowling Green, reportedly dropped it during a dispute with others in the apartment.
Hamrick, who reportedly was intoxicated, was medically cleared at Wood County Hospital and then taken to Wood County Jail.
