Wood County Sheriff Mark Wasylyshyn has placed the county under a Level 1 snow alert effective around 4:10 p.m. today (Feb. 8). Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow, and may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously.
